EAGLE PROJECT SLIDE SHOW
Be patient...

MY EAGLE PROJECT

WHAT: My Eagle Project is replacing a 300 foot long section of split rail fence that burned in Mission Trails Regional Park during the 2003 San Diego wildfires. The fence along the trail will protect adjacent vegetation and animal habitats from hikers who leave the trail to follow animal paths that criss cross the hillside.
WHEN: 9 AM to 4 PM Friday, August 10, 2012 and 9 AM to 4 PM Saturday, August 11, 2012 or whenever we finish what I have planned for each day.
WHO: Youth and adults from Troop 246, Scouts from my Order of the Arrow Chapter and Lodge, Scout friends from other Troops, personal friends, church friends, family and family friends.
WHERE: Mission Trails Regional Park - we'll meet at the Equestrian Area Parking Lot. See my SLIDE SHOW for maps and directions.
HOW TO REACH ME IF YOU ARRIVE LATE: My cell phone number is 858-245-5734
WHY: To protect the vegetation, animal habitat, and to help hikers avoid getting ticketed for wandering off the trail.
WHAT TO BRING: Gloves to prevent splinters. We'll have water, snacks, lunch, first aid, tools, heavy equipment toilet facilities, and transportation.
